I’m planning to change majors to business econ or business admin,

so I’ll most likely be taking econ 100a and math 4, and maybe 15a.

I’ll be entering second year. Commuting from LA?! MAN thats going to be tough

junshik what is your current major? I myself am a BusAdmin transfer for the fall

dude the traffic is not worth the money you are saving by commuting you are going to be losing so much study time if you do this

Currently undeclared, I was admitted as a BizAdmin but I unwittingly changed it to Bio before SPOP, and then I wanted to go back to BizAdmin during SPOP, and they wouldn’t let me… dumbest decision I ever made

I feel bad for ya. Good luck with declaring biz admin again. I would try to get into the accounting minor if you don’t get in.

^, thanks, and that is what I’m planning to do. Either minor in accounting or management…

Oh and congrats Monkeyboy on getting in as BizAdmin!

Lol JW i am too holy **** i think we have the same exact classes

MWF 11-11:50 math 4
MWF 5-5:50 15A
TR 11:00-12:20 100a

Are you seriously commuting? Financial aid covers room and board and commuting is just insane if you have a schedule similar to that one.

You would basically just come to class at 9? to make it on time with traffic and then stay till 7 or 8? insane

I’m actually a biz admin transfer and thanks I think there are only 20 of us.

I’m actually in summer session right now starting on the upper diz biz admin core

peterr86 what year are you? I heard Bilotkach for 100A is great!

And, financial aid depends on the student… and of course you can get financial aid to cover room and board, but that means LOANS. And loans = a b**** to pay back later. I already have $10,000 in loans under my belt… $6,000 already gaining interest at ~6% per quarter.

I will be taking out an additional ~$5,000 in loans for next year. Thats why I’m going to need to save as much money possible and to pay off interest when I am able to or return loan money that I don’t need.

I forgot to mention that it’s just Friday night and monday morning… sry freaking u guys out

my schedules is

44538 MATH 4 LEC A 4.0 GR mc M W F 11:00-11:50 PCB 1100
44540 MATH 4 DIS 10 0.0 GR T T 09:00-09:50 ET 202
62040 ECON 15A LEC A 4.0 GR M W F 05:00-05:50 SSLH 100
62044 ECON 15A DIS A4 0.0 GR W 06:00-06:50pm SST 155
62170 ECON 100A LEC A 4.0 GR T T 11:00-12:20 PSLH 100
62179 ECON 100A DIS A9 0.0 GR mc T 02:00-02:50 SSTR 100

I am econ major and I only need to take 14 more classes and already have 22 q units from my AP tests I will minor in acctg too.

btw, I cannot get any finan aid :(

I’m a incoming Junior transfer.

hmm jwblue we have the same schedule minus the discussion.

Actually wait your in my econ 100a discussion as well.

Junshik- I still think it’s worth it vs commuting. Me and my friend found a place for 500~ish a person including internet/utilities.

Not sure you can save 500 bucks commuting. Gas alone i would imagine be 300?

Loans might be worth it if it come down to it. It’s not the most pleasent thing but a 6% loan is much better than C.C 13% +

word to the wise, getting into the accounting minor is no easy task

peterr86, I agree with you on your view of commuting vs ap’t. Off campus ap’t is a better solution, given you live far enough.
