Has anyone gotten a finalized financial aid award? Today is apparently the last day that UCLA can possibly update the status before ppl sign off their SIR's. I'm going to call in about 2 hours but I'm wondering if anyone has already gotten it or knows when it will post, so I don't look like an idiot.

UCLA/Berk are the best schools for aid. Don’t worry too much unless you’re banking on merit based scholarships because your folks make too much money. The only merit scholarships offered directly by the school is Regents. 4.0gpa for transfers usually qualifies.

thank goodness. no, my parents dont make any money hahaha. and i’m going to have to close up shop because I cant run a business and go to school. I have a 4.0 so far, should the have already contacted me for regents?

i dont know either D: i was selected to verify some info though.

still nothing. its may 30th, *** UCLA?!

Regents is still determined by income. Since you’re low income, like you said. It should cover you for a full-ride. And yes they should have contacted you already with details for the competition.

I spoke with a rep in FA and was told awards will be posted on June 15th.

■■■■. that is total bs! how are ppl going to consciously make a choice for LA if they dont tell us how much we’re getting? bogus! Regents hasnt contacted me, i think it is because we had to file our income for last year…

if awards arent posted till the 15th, how long do we have to update/protest our current financial aid packages?

i’m guessing till that date. i’m just ****ed because the lady promised me it would be done by the 1st
