^^^
Student Contribution: $2.00… awesome…

congrats cheba! waiting anxiously for 10:30 your prediction of the 2 columns lets see if your right! Now if they don’t update it, this means decisions will probably be out tomorrow or friday correct?

When I “View financial aid document tracking” (Just below the summary link), I see a blue/grey box that reads:

FAFSA RECD FROM CENTRAL PROC // Completed // 4-17-2009

Anyone else see something similar?

amynic I do. thats an excellent sign

Are you sure that it means that we have been admitted?

Aanynic, I have that too, except it is 4-22.

“congrats cheba! waiting anxiously for 10:30 your prediction of the 2 columns lets see if your right! Now if they don’t update it, this means decisions will probably be out tomorrow or friday correct?”

Thanks, yeah I don’t know how accurate the 10:30 will be, but if they don’t update it today, no decisions today.

“Student Contribution: $2.00… awesome…”

O_O

cheba, usually whats the latest time that ursa can update the site if decisions would come out today? Because I assume that decisions dont come out without knowing the 2 columns right?

sweeeet
Question: What do you think the timing is in regards to the 2 columns & the actual acceptance letter on “admissions.ucla.edu” ? Do they update at the same time, hours in advance…?

chesserforlife, I don’t know, probably not too late.

amynic, two columns updated about 6 hours before official decisions were posted last year.

Hey Cheba, how come you didnt go to UCLA last year? Whats your major this year? and since your the expert, you think we will hear from them today?

so cheba is it good to assume that if nobody can see any update on ursa by 1 then decisions will not be 100% out today right? also, myucla is not updated either

i also see the fafsa recd 4-17-2009 thing
i know people have been saying different things about it, but does ucla request fafsa from EVERYONE? it’s obvious that they will only award admitted students, but how about just requesting fafsa?
i dont know, if i don’t make sense its because i’m so confused myself.

cutesterlove, not EVERYONE, rejected students don’t even get to see their summaries.

@ cluster,

yeah… probably not. i mean, think of one practical reason - just one - for uploading 40,000 forms when all that matters is 25% of them.

“Hey Cheba, how come you didnt go to UCLA last year? Whats your major this year? and since your the expert, you think we will hear from them today?”

Chose Berkeley over UCLA. Had to withdraw before classes even started due to an emergency. Phil major. Yes, I think we’ll hear from them today.

“so cheba is it good to assume that if nobody can see any update on ursa by 1 then decisions will not be 100% out today right? also, myucla is not updated either”

Sounds about right, I guess.

cheba is it still 3 columns for you?

well, i saw mine for the first time today so someone already saw it i guess.

Yes, still 3 for me.

@Cheba63
You and I are in the same boat! I chose UC Berkeley I was able to complete a semester but due to a financial emergency I was forced to withdraw! I applied for UCLA, I can see my fin aid status thing on URSA and got the Alumni Scholarship call but I’m still really nervous! I keep thinking that the URSA thing doesn’t matter because I was accepted last year and submitted the FAFSA again for this year, but I hope the URSA thing means I got in (again)!
