It was an indication of acceptance last year but not necassarily of rejection

do u think i should be able to see it
i cant see it
but i just created an acount 5 mins ago

I think it's been an indicator of acceptance in the past. I'm searching for old posts to try to see if they all came out at once, but I'm not finding anything. Also, I should be doing my stats hw...

By the way, I cannot access the "View eFAN and Financial Aid awards on MyFAO"

I can open the link but there's nothing really on it. It shows "no request"

Hey - I registered for an URSA account, and didn't have a 9-digit login. When I try to log in to URSA it says "Our records indicate that you do not have access to use URSA at this time" - any thoughts?

Edit: How do you get your 9-digit number?

mathtra do you have the link?

your 9 digit login is your App ID# gotta include it or the URSA logon does nothing

Dealmaster: Use your application ID# to create your login.

i'm talking to a fao rep. right now

scratch that, looks like they start talking about it around here http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/243276-university-california-transfer-students-fall-2007-official-thread-412.html?highlight=ursa+financial maybe a little before, but i've been going back 40 pages...

woah! So I just got off the phone with the lady. I asked her about the missing document, and she said mail it in to them.

I even told her I'm a prospective student without a ucla id#. she said just use your first and last name and the last four digits of your social and mail it in to the fao.

i'm thinking she wouldn't be asking me to do that (i mean go through all that hassle) if nothing's up.

I haven't had time to skim through all those posts, but we have this: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/4031808-post7034.html

"my theory still stands. Because everyone that could see the finaid thing got in. And those who didnt see it, are getting in (LATER), or are already rejected."
(after decisions started coming out)

One more post before I get back to work, I swear. The financial aid discussion starts on page 403 of that thread I've been posting. Someone else take up the researching duties?

mattn, do you have to be able to see the award, or just the summary?

I knew I should have completed the FAFSA this year.

My page just says that there are no awards available, which I'm assuming is what everyone else saw prior to the update.

I've been looking through last years thread. Those of you who can't see your summary shouldn't start freaking out yet. There were people last year that got in without being able to see their summary.

Huzzah! The stress of not knowing when there was info out there was too much.

Also, if you can see anything other than "You do not have a Financial Aid Summary for this Award Period.", I would take it as a good sign.

If we did not apply for Fafsa or anything else, should we be seeing this> "Our records indicate that you do not have access to use URSA at this time..."

I can see my financial aid summary :)
