TheIcon: er..looks like I stated the wrong thing in my earlier post. I went back and looked and this is what it says after total cost and parent contribution:

Total Financial Need: $1,942.00

To find this, I logged in to URSA and at the main menu there are three columns...Academic, Financial, Personal. The second link under Financial is where I clicked. It is titled "View Financial Aid Awards and Summary on URSA".

Someone who probably won't be accepted (but applied anyway) should check. If we have enough of those, that's a good indicator that this theory is bleh..

Housing Status: Off-Campus
Financial Aid File Status: Complete
Financial Aid Notification (FAN): Not Available
Cost of Attendance: $22,xxx.00
Student Contribution: $x.00
Parent Contribution: $0.00
Total Financial Need: $22,xxx.00

Awards 2008-2009 Academic Year

I see this, I can't handle lurking anymore.

Guys, an inability to see a fin aid package ≠ rejection.

I repeat, an inability to see a fin aid package ≠ rejection.

But the thread mattn posted said this by a SuperModerator, what is a supermod??

Housing Status: On-Campus
Financial Aid File Status: Incomplete
Financial Aid Notification (FAN): Not Available
Cost of Attendance: $2**.00
Student Contribution: $0.00
Parent Contribution: $.00

I have no Fin. Aid award on URSA so I'm kind of sad. :( I know that having one doesn't necessarily mean that you're not accepted, but none of these "cheating" type of methods have worked with me for any schools. SIGH. I have completed what they wanted & more and get no flippin clue yet as to whether it's a yes or no. How about you?

I'm just venting.. I'll be really bummed if I get rejected.
