UCLA high school transcripts

My provisional admission contract does not say anything about sending high school transcripts however I used my foreign language courses from high school for my IGETC. Does this mean I still have to send them my high school transcripts or do I just send my IGETC certification from my community college? I'm really confused and its almost June so I don't know what to do..I'm freakin out lol. Does anyone know what I should do? Thanks in advance!

I don’t really know much about UCLA but I would personally send them to be on the safe side though your CC will certify you for IGETC since they have your HS transcripts on file anyway (so UCLA doesn’t have to bother with this). I think I only had to pay $3 for my HS transcript so you might as well, just in case. Unless someone else knows for a fact that you don’t need to send them…

I’m pretty certain high school transcripts are not required. You can double check in myUCLA under Admissions. There, every transcript that UCLA is expecting from you should be listed. It should say specifically that you do not need to send your high school one.

Thanks killmyentourage and belkster! I looked under myUCLA admissions and it says I don’t need a high school transcript hooray :]

It doesn’t say that I need it… and it doesn’t say if I don’t need it either!!! Well that was until a couple of days ago. Now my foreign coursework and high school transcripts aren’t even showing up in the list…weird

since it takes time for them to receive transcripts… did you guys send your cc transcripts already?

Of course.

Is ucla the only school that requires transcripts up til fall 2010 by June 1 or all of te uc’s

When you log onto MyUCLA it will have a section that shows whether or not they received your transcripts. For myself, it says that high school transcripts are not required. I don’t know if it is the same for everyone, but it seems to be that way for everyone I know that has gotten in.

As for the other UC’s I think some are either by June 1st or July 15th. I would log into their sites where you can view your admission and everything to check.
