UCLA Housing Offers

How long do I have to accept the offer? I don't know if I'm going to be able to stay or not yet.. Rieber Terrace Double-Shared Bath

i believe June 24th, 5 PM is the latest you can accept the offer.

Anyone else reject their offer??

i definitely rejected my lame triple with shared bath offer

if you rejected your offer, what housing (apt--share room, commute, etc) are you going to live in or planning to?

I accepted my crappy offer. I am just waiting to do the CAR thing so i can get into the suites. If i am stuck, then oh well. I don't want to have to deal with the whole drama of finding an apt/location/cost/etc...

a triple is not lame. i'm in a triple with a COMMUNAL bathroom and it is in no way lame. i rather like it and it isn't that cramped at all. Note that I am in Reiber Hall right now, one of the crappier halls next to Dystraka (sp?).

I thought it would be way worse. Sure the bathrooms are done in prison style, but for the most part, I like this set up and it's pretty nice.

I think a shared triple is awesome, not everyone will be using the bathroom at once and you get three more roommates than you asked for!

I wonder how we determine who gets the single bed in the triple. How are you guys with triples going to determine? I'm probably going to rush to my dorm the night before my move in date and right when they open! BAM! I'm inside! and quickly put my belongings on the bed. ;D

Be warned though. The single bed is usually the bunk with a desk underneath. I got that when I was at Irvine, and it was less than two feet from the ceiling. So make sure it's what you want, haha.

i have the loft single and there is plenty of head clearance at UCLA. =)

i checked the other rieber buildings and they are all very big and high. i like it. =)

I'm living in Hitch Suites, I've seen the virtual tour, and the single bed and its not a bunk, the table is to the side. :D

Hitch looks like condos in Mammoth! The "hill" is really not bad. Just cut through Rieber court (up stairs, ew) and it's just a skip away.

just curious, exactly how far away are the "off-campus" apartments from campus?

The map of the campus and off campus housing is on their website. Here is a link to that map:

Hedrick Summit, single shared bath whoo hoo

whats the best on campus housing for transfer students?

I place doubles as my first preference followed by singles then trips and got offered a single shared bath at Hedrick Summit.

oh whoops, looks like this thread is from last year
