Okay so on my provisional contract it said get Cs or better in your classes except in all major prep classes. And then it said I had to get a B in my Honors Stats class. Now there are two reasons why it might have said that. One is, I applied under tap (for honors students) and I got accepted under tap/my alternate major. To complete the honors program the last class I needed was the stats class. SO technically to be accepted to UCLA under tap as an honors student I would have also had to have completed the honors program at my school by completing stats with a B or higher. OR, stats is a major prep class/requirement for my alternate major into UCLA so maybe thats the other reason EXCEPT i am taking cultural anthropology and that is an honors class too and a major prep for my major.
Okay so, I had an A all semester in stats, then we had a quiz before the final and I did awful on it (didn’t think I was going to) and it dropped me to a B. Well we had our final and apparently I did so bad on it that I dropped to a C. And not high enough of a C to be rounded up. All my other classes this semester are As. I didn’t talk the teacher cause I didn’t think that was going to happen and now we are out of school. Should I email him? I don’t know what to do? My offer will most likely be rescinded right? I mean I am finishing cultural anthro with a B or better which means I am still finishing the honors program, they just chose it to be stats that I have to complete with a B. Can I explain that to them or tell someone. I don’t know what I can do.
