Where are the prices for the meals? Every time I click on a link it asks me to sign in. I’m thinking it might be cause I’m on my phone. Idk.
You need to click on the housing that you want and it will have columns for each meal plan. Price includes meal plans and room.
Is it common for transfer students to have a meal plan their first year?
@history2law I saw that but what about off campus students’ meal plans? Those are the ones I’m trying to see the prices for
Im having a hard time finding the prices for off campus meal plans. Here is the price for individual meals = https://housing.ucla.edu/dining-services/meal-prices
The food is very expensive if you ask me.
If you’re a commuter, I don’t think you’ll nearly get your money’s worth on meal plans. The places where you can use your swipes are not near where you will have classes, and ultimately you’ll likely be eating elsewhere.

@History2Law non-resident meal plans?
In order to see the contract with actual prices you must have a bruins card
“1. You must have a valid UCLA Bruin Card to sign up for and use an Non-Resident Meal Plan.”
@History2Law can the 19G and 14B meal plans be used at the cafes on campus or must be used in the residence halls? And if so can they be used outside the dining period?
@yellowmamba45 I believe they can be used at all cafes. The fast food retaurants can not use your meal plan. Only the premium (19p and 14p) can be used any time. 11,14,& 19 must be used by the end of the week and only once per time slot
@History2Law thank you so much!
