UCLA or Rutgers Business School

I need help figuring out which is better for me and how to gain scholarships or grants for each. First off I want to pursue business, management, administration or entrepreneurship are for me. I know UCLA doesn’t have a business program for undergrads but I would like more info on what they currently offer and what would be best for me. I do not actually want to go to Rutgers but my whole family thinks its best money wise. I love UCLA at first sight (I visited this summer) but money is just getting in the way! I need to find a way around this because California is where I feel I should be but my family doesn’t. All in all which is a better school, how do I find the cheapest way to attend and what is best for me.

Thanks in advance!

You need to apply to USC, it has business, management, and all the stuff in your post. Plus it gives merit aid or financial aid.

There is no cheap way for an out of state student to attend UCLA. The UC’s do not offer any financial aid to OOS students other than Pell grants if you qualify. If your parents cannot afford it then you cannot attend. Period.

You can easily look this up on the UCLA website.

I meant campus life and business related clubs and ventures i can take. I was watching a video about how UCLA students still pursue business out side the college classes.

UCLA has Econ and you can take accounting classes but no undergraduate business program. I think UCI has business.

DrGoogle, I visited UCI as well but do you think UCI has a better name in the business field or Rutgers?

I do t know much about Rutgers but it seems like students from NJ dont like Rutgers. So apply to UCI and USC.

Definitely apply to USC, and pick it over Rutgers if you do get in.

Why are you considering UCI when you’ve already been told that there would be no inexpensive way to attend?

How much will your parents pay each year? Ask them, please don’t guess.

What are your test scores and GPA? (include SAT breakdown).

Once we know the above, we can better recommend some schools for you as a business major.
