<p>One of the advantages that UCLA has over USC is that they have the UCLA "Ronald Reagan" Medical Center for you to volunteer at/get in internship in - less than a stone's throw from Ackerman - if you're planning on being a pre-med. Biology at UCLA is pretty-much sink-or-swim, but you'll find that inevitable for any competitive major at any school. Majoring in Biology, Biochem, Psychobio, Biophysics, Bioengineering, Biostatics, MCDB, or MIMG requires the same level of competitiveness. I would also choose UCLA, just for the pre-med opportunities.</p>
