I’m surprised people would not take regents especially from ucla. Priority registration goes a long way guys

@onehandedred My answer is one word, Haas. LOL

@onehandedred

I got an email, still nothing in the mail yet. It basically congratulates me for being among those selected for the scholarship and extends an invite to participate in an overnight stay program. It’s not too detailed but hopefully I get something more official in the coming days.

I’m most excited about priority enrollment at this point although the additional money would be great help as well.

Aight stop hiding dat regents money. Tell me your new ePAL guys 8->

…they haven’t updated the ePAL yet, hope it updates tomorrow

So they selected 81 people to be regents? That’s a lot of people. I thought it was usually like 25

If you do the math, it roughly amounts to the “top 1.5%” of transfer applicants: 81 divided by 5,296 applicants = ~0.015, so it makes sense

Just wondering for anyone still deciding, would you go to UCLA if you got regents?
UCLA regents over Cal? (has Cal released their regents decisions yet?).

There isn’t a UCLA Alumni Scholarship thread and we’ve talked about it a bit here so I have to ask, has anyone who had an interview heard back about the scholarship?

@Lilyblue12
I haven’t heard anything back from them at all…

For anyone interested:
I just talked to someone at the scholarship desk. They said that they are still waiting to hear from a couple interviewers and might not reach the June1st deadline. Also, no one will get an official rejection from the scholarship until August. This is because if someone who receives the scholarship decides not to go to UCLA they will then give that scholarship to someone else.
