<p>Yes, I spoke with the director of undergrad scholarships, and she told me that the scholarship decisions would be released simultaneously with the admission decisions.</p>

<p>I know, I was disappointed too; it really curbed any excitement from a UCLA acceptance.</p>

<p>how do we know that the scholarship amount is from regents or from something else?</p>

<p>It clearly states what the gift aid is from; what do you mean exactly?</p>

<p>I do have an amount listed under scholarship recognition but how do I know it's Regents and not something else?</p>

<p>Sad, got my formal letter of rejection today for the regents scholarship. Though, i should be happy that i got into UCLA, but the money would have been nice.</p>

<p>I was also denied. 4.0 gpa, full-time working student. I suspect my essay could have been better.... very sad... is anyone applying for other external merit-based scholarships? anyone know of any good ones for transfer students?</p>

<p>Got denied. Same here, secondthird, 4.0 GPA, full-time work, strong extra-currics, strong essay too. A little bummed, but it's cool. I'm not really surprised that there are people out there who are more qualified.</p>

<p>I got it. I posted earlier today to a different post. I got a letter from Regents in the mail today. I didn't see it online on my financial aid summary so maybe you guys will get something in the mail.</p>

<p>I was concerned that I had not been chosen for the Regent's Scholarship because there was no mention of it on my acceptance letter; however, I received a separate letter from Regents yesterday, and I got it! Congrats to all who were accepted to UCLA: GREAT WORK!</p>
