Nothing on my end. It’s like a catch 22. It could be a good sign or a bad sign. But since the waitlist people are supposed to hear back after 5 today, it would make sense appeal is the last considered. That could be positive news or not. I choose to think it’s a positive

Do you guys have any idea if they email the application if he/she is denied?
@Allhalekhaleesi they just say your portal has been updated, they don’t directly tell you in email if you have been rejected or accepted.
they supposed to email you. but they told me just keep checking.
Also, I think this weekend is an exception and they work this weekend because they told me that especial person who is answering to appeals is going to a vacation out of U.S. So, just wait

Where most likely going to here back tomorrow because when I emailed Ucla they said no later than July 2. But as it stands every thing up in the air because allot of people have heard back.
So a lot of people did hear today?

most of the freshman students have heard already I believe.

@shch7898 no Ucla didn’t tell me that. It just speculation that if one person heard back already than some other people maybe heard back as well. It just make sense because why would they just admit one person when they have a cut off limit on who they should admit on appeals

Rejected checked my portal. It very bad on ucla part that it took that long. It seem like acceptance received a email throughout June, but anyways it look like I’m going to uc davis. I new sociology was impacted when I applied so I Might apply again this month with a different major while at Davis.

Yes I didn’t receive an email either so either acceptance is already done or if you get an email you’re in. I decided to check portal and that’s how I found out.
