I just called them : start checking your portal until this weekend.
@Sety_sety i believe that means that if we don’t hear back today we have been rejected, no one works during the weekend unless they push till next weekend but I doubt that. well i guess its time to stop beating around the bush and come to terms. :))
Alright this is for everybody I just spoke to one of the advisors that is there in UCLA she stated that if honestly if we don’t hear back by today there’s nobody working obviously during the weekend but we will hear something on the weekend I believe what she was hinting that is that if we don’t get accepted or hear anything by today Friday honestly we’re just in the pool being rejected that’s all and it sucks
I got in as a Pre-Business Economics major. !!! OMGOMGOMGOMGMOGMOGMOMGMOG I didn’t think I would get in on appeal. This is crazy for an impacted major.
@itakenotes congrats! you received an e-mail?
@itakenotes congrats! What’s your GPA and what did you write in your appeal?
@ricardomata83 I did. @shch7898 3.89 GPA I basically wrote why UCLA would fit me better than other UCs that I have been admitted to.
@itakenotes Wow, it’s amazing you got into that major. Congratulations!
That’s awesome, doesn’t make sense not to inform students that are rejected as soon as they are rejected. So I’m starting not to buy that rejection pool.
I do, on the other hand, I think they may have hit a space and time limit, and maybe can’t possibly go through every single appeal, those appeals will likely get put in a rejection pool? (speculation, of course.)
Still keeping positive though.
It’s all just crazy because I really feel they could just release the decisions for each applicant as they come to the conclusion.
Right @ricardomata83 I realize I just repeated the same thing you did lol!
@itakenotes congratulations!!! That’s positive news
@Bltrn789 what?!?? No totally didn’t see that. I thought you had to declare a major? I’m assuming those are junior transfers?
@Bltrn789 Ok I saw this on this website for Ucla transfer so now I’m really confused on to who the undeclared is.
Q: CAN I APPLY TO UCLA AS AN UNDECLARED MAJOR?
A: No. Transfer students must apply to a specific major. One reason for this is that UCLA policy requires that all students declare their major by the time they reach junior standing. Another reason is that transfer applicants are expected to complete lower division preparation coursework for their intended majors before transferring.
Waitlist thread said they find out AFTER 5pm tonight
So are we finding out before 5 or after.
If not until after 5, I’ll be up all night lol
its all about how they program their computer. but I feel same, if dont here today, we will be rejected.
guys, lets F…K it. its not end of the world. if you want to go graduate school, undergraduate rejection is not a big problem.I’ll start working on my GRE’s, so get back into UCLA for Graduate school.
if i dont get into UCLA screw it, i will try my best to get in Harvard at least JD is what is going to out weight CSUN. but we will see guys its been a pleasure i hope everything goes well for everyone and keep on pushing on for the next milestone.
I feel it’s on a rolling basis, we will see what happens. There was a acceptance on memorial day.
@itakenotes where else did you get accepted?
@shch7898 UCSD, UCI, UCSB, and UCD
