Nothing is required for transfer students.

I got an email today from the admissions rep from my school stating they are not going to make 4/19 projected date. He said its looking like the 26th.

^ noooooooooooooo!!!

Pics or it didnt happen ^^ lol

^ at this point, I’m going to have to copy that, LOL :)

I’m not posting pics because I’m not putting my ad rep on blast. You can not believe me and stare at the screen on the 19th :)

Then block out stuff that may put him/her on bad rep

^ NOOO!

I have missed two prime study days for nothing…am I the only one that’s heart-broken?

@alevy123 I’m a Comm major, and I was able to see my financial aid and my major on myUCLA on the 12th. My finaid hasn’t gone anywhere, but the bar on myUCLA is blank now.

There’s probably a lot of stuff they have to enter into the system and prep for, so honestly, I don’t think anyone should get too happy or too bummed before the decisions come out, no matter what appears on URSA or myUCLA.

I’m with everyone on the wait though – it’s already been torture, but adding an extra week of stress and tension would probably make me lose the last of my marbles. I think the best thing to do is just focus on your current classes and keep up that GPA in hopes of snagging some merit scholarships. :)

If I block my name and block his name then how does that prove anything? Lol you guys are crazy. I have no reason to lie, I’m clicking refresh and staring at the screen all the same.

^ no no you are definitely not. I think I might be frustrated enough to cry a bit

Seriously. The longer it takes the more pessimistic I’ll be. This is crazy. UCLA Sparta!!!

P.S. let’s face it though, everyone…chances are that they would have updated the website by now with the decision date if it was that close, and school counselors would most likely be telling students openly to get ready for the 19th.

I worked in the transfer center at my school for a year, so I know the center staff and the reps that come in pretty well – when Kate Jakway Kelly (a name some of you may be familiar with) came to my school early last week, she told the staff at the Transfer Center that it looked like decisions would probably be more toward the end of the month.

The deadline of April 19th was set by the UC Office of the President. I will be surprised if they miss the deadline.

Also, is it just a coincidence that this week is “Transfer Pride Week”?

I was counting the seconds to this Friday… Only 864000 seconds to go…

I wonder if they’ll release admissions in waves because they missed the deadline

^ I hope so. Since there’s no more definitive date… MsSun said it was going to be the 19th but who knows what happened… I hope it’s not another entire week though :(

^ I wondered that too. The least thing they can do is send it in by waves so not everyone has to wait till the 26th.

@almalex5 I think that it’s very likely. If they can’t release all decisions, they will probably release most of them.

@sumbum it’s possible for things to change, no matter who the goal was set by. I don’t want to wait another week, either, but I also think people should prepare themselves for that potential reality, that’s all. And as for Transfer Pride Week, it makes sense – transfers are always admitted around the end of April, so what better time to celebrate your UC success than around the anniversary of your acceptance? But saying that means anything for us directly is a bit of a stretch.
