Haven’t met too many other comm majors, surprisingly. I have a 3.94 overall, 4.0 major. Took one of my prereqs at UCLA over the summer, too, so hoping that gives me a boost :o </p>
<p>Choosing to go for broke with comm is scary though, no matter what your stats are! I’m a Nervous Nancy over here.</p>
<p>@bruinhearted Nice! I’m in the same position as you! 3.92 gpa and 4.0 for major and I didnt take two pre-reqs which I’m kind of nervous about! You are lucky that you took a pre-req at ucla! Hopefully that is an advantage for you! Wish you luck!!!</p>

<p>Aw man I’m comm major but 3.88 D: failure Gpa >< I did the public speaking and intro to comm prereqs at ucla though and got As hopefully that helps! And I’m hoping that major on the banner thing is actually a valid indicator</p>

<p>@ttavakol 3.88 does not equal failure! Average GPA admitted last year was a 3.89, and the average GPA of all Comm transfer applicants was somewhere around 3.33. Your GPA plus kicking ass in two prereqs at UCLA is definitely a good combination! Who did you have for Intro to Comm & when did you take it?</p>
