UCLA Transfer decisions out April 19th!

5 more dayss

Damn… was wishing to celebrate UCLA on 4/20 LOL

@BioToUCLA

I feel you.

@BiotoUcla

Got rejected last year on 420 while I was toking up.

Has the trick worked for any life science majors out there? If so, please let me know! The URSA and the myUCLA trick!

@cwIPEAm I started to see the “tricks” on April 12.

I was at UCLA yesterday and I was told that 80% of decisions were going to be coming out on Friday. They are getting an extra week and they still can’t finish. :(

^^ Damn. That sucks… here we all are hoping that they may release some early, but it looks like that is definitely not going to happen since they won’t even have them all done by friday…

They’ll be done on Friday. We will all have our decisions on Friday.

^ Seriously.

Give it a rest and go enjoy the present instead of agonizing over your future.

@sumbum did you sign up for summer first or did you just see the trcks au

*automatically? sorry for the two posts-.-

We aren’t “agonizing” over our future we are just excited and nervous to find out. Obviously we are gonna share information that we’ve gotten with each other and talk about decisions, that’s what this forum is for.

Not to alarm anyone bc I’m sure you all are as stressed as I am but I just read this on Ms. Sun’s blog “The transfer enrollment target is 2,900 students.” The Fall 2012 SIR count was 3,381 (5,011 admit), so I guess it is lower." I don’t really get what’d going on with UCLA this year at all…this means they’re taking a least 5% less transfers this year in comparison to last year

Do you mean 10%++

^^ That’s unfortunate. Oh well, nothing we can do! Maybe they lowered the enroll target because their enroll rate went up? Just speculating

@sarah989

The amount of speculative activities, trying to divine from clearly indistinct methods of assessing whether, somehow, somewhere, in UCLAs alternate departments, maybe there’s something… c’mon, these are people applying to a research institution?!

No it’s only 5% because if you look at last year there was 19,099 apps so if it was really just a 1% increase for transfer apps there was 19289 apps this year and a 481 difference in enrollment # so thats 4530/19289= 23.48% and last years admit rate was 28.54%

Oh. You mean admit rate not percent difference of the enrollment rate.

@zimzam if people are speculating and trying to find clues about acceptance because they’re excited about possibly going to one of the best universities in the nation, what’s it to you?

Ya sorry I meant admit rate I mean she didn’t really know about the date change so maybe this isn’t 100% true just not something I wanted to hear haha
