@pinkfish13 me too, History major here and I was getting pretty scared when all the engineers reported seeing their info.

how does you ID look like on the decision page? I notice my ID start with 00. is this weird? I know UCLA ID is 9 digit. So mine is 004--. Do you guys have this? I am worried.

@mermeid My Id starts with a “104.” I don’t think it means anything and it’s nothing you should be worried about at all.

I’m curious to know if anyone has received communication from UCLA after applying on the UC application. I’m not referring to the initial thank you email or requests for transcripts. I applied to UCLA and UCI. UCI communicated with me frequently about various events and I was accepted on April 4.

I think I have a great chance of being accepted to UCLA. I’m applying to a non-impacted major and have a 4.0 GPA. I’m just surprised they have not sent me any emails about anything. Is anyone else in a similar place?

Is English an impacted major?

Hey guys, just wanted to share some info I found while combing through threads from previous years:

(These posts are from someone who was NOT able to see their financial aid summary on URSA)

just called the head of financial aid office. I left a message to him this morning and he called me back this afternoon.
He said, “The reason we couldn’t get your FAFSA information is you haven’t been admitted yet. They may still review your application or …”

So congrats to anyone who can see the financial aid summary.
summary = acceptance.

good new to you guys who got that summary. I called financial aid officer. A lady told me that they have nothing to do with URSA. Admission department in charge of that. so I asked, “Does that mean I got rejected?” She said, “I don’t think they have updated all the admitted students.” !!! GOD DAMN IT!!!

To add to the post above, there are cases where people did not see it and got accepted, and people who saw it and got rejected. So I’m not saying this is 100%.

However, it appears that the vast majority who see it are accepted.

@mermeid, mine starts with a 004 as well…

@MichaelGA I have also only received the initial thank you email in December…makes me worried :(

I highly doubt the ID number has anything to do with anything. That means they would have known if everyone was accepted or denied earlier, which doesn’t explain the delay in admission decisions.

I don’t know if I trust the whole financial aid thing lol

Still summer session and can’t see my financial aid summary… 3.8 poli sci major. Anyone know when we should be able to see summary/banner changes? (For nonengineeering/art majors)

I’m a communication major and I was able to see my major before it went blank, so some communication studies majors should be able to see it

hi guys, I’m a bit confused here. what is the trick to see if we got in for arts major? do we need to sign up for summer session or something?

for the accepted students that did not apply for financial aid in the past, what does there URSA financial aid summary page look like? does it give a cost of attendance?

@cwIPEAm Did you apply to the School of Arts and Architecture?

How do you even log in to URSA??? Please enlighten me

@sumbum yes but I did not receive invitation for the open house thing. Is it over?

@Dm1993 Check out this thread for more info

@cwIPEAm Not necessarily. It’s possible to get accepted. They told us that about 850 people applied to the School of A&A and they accepted 40, this includes artists, dancers, architects, and musicians.

I want next week to start already!! This wait cannot go by any slower -__-

thats depressing. do you know how many are international students? is the summer trick working for art students now?
