@LegioLatius someone i know that’s wait listed as well told me. here’s the msg

The Undergraduate Admission Office will continue to review the waitlist and notify applicants through the middle of July 2015. These notices are being sent on a rolling basis. There is nothing more that can be done by the applicant.

Sincerely,
UCLA Undergraduate Admission

As difficult as this process is I feel that they are trying to admit as many students as possible, which is a good thing for us. What a great lesson in paticence… [-O<

so, anyone got anything, today?

Nothing for me…

nothing…

Nothing as well.
Has anyone heard of any engineers getting decisions yet?

has anyone been rejected?

I think they will give us rejection at the same time …

An update from Ms Sun’s blog!

http://■■■■■■■■■■■■/home/state-budget-update-2015/

Notice how she emphasized starting from the 2016-2017 school year.

Napolitano already said a few times that she wouldn’t increase enrollment for the coming fall.

It is really bad new though.

It means this year is not included ?

@Beyond21 Unfortunately, yes…

Sigh. What does this mean then? Did they enroll less students this year compared to other years?

As the articles do say, they plan to add 10,000 more students to the systemwide enrollment. To accomplish this, they will enroll more students every year. But it is not happening this year but next year…
Napolitano was clear on this. If the state gov. had approved the budged earlier, some of us would be happy and excited now.

It does not make sense to me that they accept less students this year because they plan to add students over four years. So I strongly believe they accept as many students as they did for the past few years.
When the decisions came out in April, how much UCs can get from the state gov. was unclear at that time. I think this is why more people got waitlisted this year compared to other years ( this is my subjective opinion though).

That aritcle makes us so frustrate…it would be over…

nothing today either.

I think No more chance to get into for waitlists…
