For those that got admitted: when did you submit your essay?

I was admitted off the waitlist as an English major on Thursday (7/22) and I was notified around 9 am. Idk if it helps but I had a 3.9 GPA and wrote a rather short, concise waitlist essay, and I submitted it virtually on the last day of the waitlist deadline, so I don’t think when you submitted it plays a role!

my response to the waitlist was pretty short too. I figured they would want it to be sweet and short.

I was accepted off of the waitlist on 7/22. I received an email with a decision update.
Pre-History Major
3.88 GPA
Regarding the supplemental info…I only wrote out my in-progress classes and projected grades. I did not write an essay.

Congratulations! As a fellow USC admit, will you be committing to UCLA or do you have something else in mind?
To be honest, I am conflicted. I already registered and was excited for USC but now I need to rethink this. It is not a bad position to be in but I want to be sure and make the best choice.
Hehe, I’m not too familiar with UCLA or USC’s history program, but I can assume that their both really good. I also saw that you got the transfer merit scholarship from USC, are you a nontraditional student? Regardless, congratulations, I wish I had such good options lol
