UCLA transfer with Bus econ or econ?

Hi, first of all I would like to thank you for reading my thread.
I'm a second year now at a community college with a GPA of 3.8.

I want to go to UCLA with either Bus econ or econ but my dilemma is that if I want to major in bus econ, I would have almost 70 units by the end of the year. If I do econ, I would have 62 which is perfect. It's because for Bus econ, the two accounting classes are required which are 8 units in total.

So I wanted to hear you guys' opinions on my situation. Bus econ or econ?

I also would like to know what the differences are between those two majors and which helps you prepare for a better career. My friend once told me that Bus econ ensures better jobs and clearer future because it is a more specified major. What do you guys think?

Amazing talks a lot about UCLA here.

yeahhhh i read that last night and i was intrigued by it.
but i also would like to know the other option as well.
what benefits would i get by majoring in business… u know what i mean?
and the unit limitation issue…
thanks for the reply though!

In a sense
Biz-econ = Econ+Acct and few classes thrown in from the business school at UCLA. If you want to do accounting this is econ with an acct minor.
Econ- Just econ you should pick this if you want more freedom in picking other classes. Say you want to take more business classes at the business school or from other departments.

I will be also applying for Biz-econ major this up coming November, because I want to get a CPA too.
