@hellothere, I’m here to discredit all mockery from all boyfriends everywhere, haha :)

@colors, sharks lost :(

@psych:

in URSA:
click the “enrollment menu” button at the top of the left column
select “2012 - summer” and continue
the next page will ask for some information, fill this out and “continue”
continue through until you get to the enrollment menu with all the little paw buttons that allow you to add/drop classes, etc

once you get to this menu, log out of URSA and wait 5-10 minutes
log back in
you should then be prompted to update your email address
after that, wait 5-10 minutes and you should be able to access myUCLA!

@justine: Yikes! I am on myucla now what do I do? I don’t see my major =/ This can’t be good!

@psych, that’s normal. in about 30 minutes (or under) you will see “summer sessions” underneath your name. the system isn’t updated until 3AM, so if you’re going to see your major in myUCLA, you won’t see it until after the update tonight.

remember: seeing your major is a good sign, but NOT seeing it isn’t necessarily a bad sign (it can mean rejection, but it can also mean that the system simply hasn’t updated, which is not uncommon)

@justine: wow you know a lot! thank you sooo muchhh. what’s your first choice?

@psych, I’m an obsessive internet fiend and CC-er, that’s all I thought my first choice was Cal, but now I’m leaning more toward UCLA . . . I guess they’ll make the decision for me!

I haven’t been keeping up with the whole UCLA admissions process so can someone please kindly enlighten me?

I haven’t made an account because UCLA hasn’t sent me instructions yet. But will UCLA send us emails tomorrow evening, instructing us to create portal accounts? And will decisions be posted on that portal, or would everything be enclosed within the email that I assume they’ll send?

Thanks.

You guys should just relax, do some homework, and wait until decisions come out tomorrow! I’m sure all of you will hear good news :)

Off topic:

currently my favorite song :)

@karma, none of the things we’re doing here are UCLA-officiated. if you want to simply check your decision when it comes out, then you don’t have to do anything except wait to access the decision site tomorrow evening. we haven’t received emails or anything of the sort.

@ justintruant

Ah, thanks for clarifying. I was beginning to think I was missing something that a lot of people here were onto.

@SBlee483

Good choice in music. I’m covering that song right now lol.

Lets listen to a song more relevant
[Childish Gambino - You See Me - YouTube](<a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube)

um…This might sound really ridiculous to many of you UCLA diehards but… how exactly will they let us know if we have been admitted? I have heard myucla being kicked around but I have only received the one painfully generic email from ucla back in December. Ucla is a long shot but I applied nonetheless.

@darksaber, no, not necessarily. very few people have been able to access their ucla.edu email address at this point. I think it’s something like 3 or 4 people out of the past 4 years of threads I’ve looked through.

internet famouzzz~

what time do you guys think they will release the decisions?

they’re saying they’ll be released around or after 5:00 PM PST

well, considering the fact that we’re aware of daylight savings time, they can be used interchangeably, at least colloquially, to indicate pacific time. PST is in the winter; PDT is in the summer. but, yeah, as of the vernal equinox, we’ve been in PDT time right right right you are !

@darksaber, being able to log into myUCLA isn’t the indicator. I suggest you read the thread further and you’ll see what the indicators are. EVERYONE can log into myUCLA after messing with summer enrollment, that isn’t the discussion here.

@dark: does his major appears on his myUCLA, or it says summer session student
