I am wondering will it be helpful if I take the classes related to geography, such as geology, meterology, sociology, political science, etc.
And because geography only offered by 3 UCs, I wonder is it good to apply for other UCs in other unrelated major as a back up?

Can someone tell me my chance for UCLA? Thanks

lol you’re in 100 percent at ucla. people with 3.2s get in for geography at ucla.

My friend told me that UC won’t take account the grades in Spring quarter, is it true? If so, do the the stats(average GPA) shown in UCLA website include the grades in Spring?
Thanks for your help!

That’s a good question ^ o.o

Your grades from fall and before GET you in, your grades after that KEEP you in. And I’m 99.99% sure that the GPAs on the stats are total overall GPAs for ALL semesters.

Average admitted GPA for geography majors at UCLA for fall 2013 was 3.61. 63.64% of all applicants were accepted. Your GPA is quite literally perfect and so is your major GPA. I’d say that your chances of getting into UCLA are extremely high. Good job! Keep it up.

I have another question.
I am an international student, before I come to the US. I was admitted and enrolled at a two-year college in my home country. However, I was admitted by a CCC right after I enrolled in the home country college, so I have never take any class in there.
Do I have to include that in my UC application? Thanks so much.
Happy Thanksgiving.
