i’ve received my fin aid summary for ucsd, uci, and sb…

ucla, you’re killing me… :(

Im dying here, I am trying to write a paper and I can’t focus at all!

Housing message is the same as yours sandaboy and financial aid is up

@ takeitallin

I didn’t apply for financial aid and I got that message…interesting

can you please tell me how to do the housing apps please? thanks

sandaboy-I filled out a FAFSA but it doesn’t show that I was awarded anything.

I’m getting the same housing message without FA

interesting.

@ samuel:

on the URSA, once you’ve logged in, click on “view myhousing” under the financial section.

From there, click on the “undergraduate housing application” and then click on “apply online now” and then follow the steps.

Oh well - I guess it’s time to just wait some more until something is official

I can guarantee that this means nothing in regard to admission. I bet everyone gets this crap in the next day or two.

When I click to apply for housing, I get this:

How to Apply - Housing Preferences
Step 1: HOUSING PREFERENCES

Your housing offer is made based upon the Housing Assignment Preference you indicate on your application.

If your Housing Assignment Preference is Facility/Room Type, the automated assignment program will attempt to assign you to your highest-ranked facility/room type.
If you indicate Roommate as your Housing Assignment Preference, the automated program will attempt to assign you and all mutually-requested roommates, to the same building/room type. (See Roommate Requests below for more information.)
If your Housing Assignment Preference is Theme Communities, the automated assignment program will attempt to assign you to your highest-ranked theme. (Returning residents must also submit an additional online application located at [UCLA Office of Residential Life - Theme Communities: Details](Living Learning Communities | Residential Life).)
If none of your preferences is available when you are assigned, the automated assignment program will assign you to other available housing.

I kind of think so too lintij

OK so I have an idea…

we should have SFwarrior go through the housing app and see what happens…so far he seems to be a prime candidate for admittance that HAS SEEN a financial aid award…if his housing message is the same as ours…

“We are unsure of your enrollment status. The housing office has been notified and will fix the problem by the end of the next business day. Sorry for the inconvenience.”

…it means the housing message is not such a great indicator of anything at this point…if it is different, then things get interesting.

Oh wait, before that, when I click on “Undergraduate Housing Application,” I got this:

How to Apply
Submit your housing application online! Use the link in Related Information.

Be sure to have the following available to help you complete the online application:

Your UCLA Logon ID and password:
If you are a newly admitted student, this information should be contained in your official UCLA Admission Notice.

Your UCLA logon ID is the username which you will use to authenticate to Bruin OnLine (BOL) services. To activate your UCLA Logon ID, please visit the link in Related Information.

I got that too martin, but then if you go to the right side of that page and click the application button it won’t let you actually apply

I’m not even going to try to check.
I don’t want any false hope (or disappointment).

1 more long week to wait…

@Martin

you have to click on “apply online now” on the right hand side of the page.

Is there anyone out there still thinking we might get admissions today at 4-5 pacific?

Sorry for being such a newbie guys! haha

I have the slightest sliver of hope.
