UCLA URSA FinAid UP 2010

@lintij Yessss I do

■■■■…it says that FAO has not received my FAFSA!!! WHAT??? is anyone else getting this? when i check on CalGrants it shows that I did select UCLA as one of my schools so…***??? i’m starting to panic now…

@ lintij

I personally think we have a 90% chance of NOT getting anything today.

The 10% hope I have is based on this URSA stuff going on today :)

Hey, so you guys who are seeing Financial Aid info, you all submitted your FAFSAs to UCLA? I just submitted mine to the school I’m going to. Should I update my FAFSA to include UCLA in order to see any changes?

Because as of right now, I’m getting the I have no Financial Aid information available stuff.

You probably didn’t put the right school code. I had to go back and input a different school code for UCSD, even though there are two school codes for the same exact school named UC San Diego. I don’t know why.

18 minutes till 4PM! LOL

so im guessing this ‘hack’ doesnt work for the fools (me) who forgot to add UCLA on their FAFSA’s?

wait @sandaboy do decisions usually come out at 4 or 5? I thought it was 5

16 mins till A or R-Day

or perhaps a week

@andrew…
i believe if you didnt add a specific school. they wouldnt have any access
that happened to me with usc… forgot to add they had no way to get it…

i checked “my housing” and it’s letting me go all the way through with applying for housing. good sign?

@samuelkim

So is that a bad thing? I wouldn’t assume that admission is contingent on having my financial aid info. This can be updated and corrected before the school year starts (if I’m accepted I mean). Right?

You won’t have information if you either didn’t put UCLA on Fafsa, or you didn’t submit an SIR (which none of you have) so a lot of people are going to have the same message of “UCLA did not get information from fafsa” or whatever. I actually can log in and apply for housing, have not completed because I have to input all this information, yet I don’t know If I’m getting in. But I think it is a good sign that I can actually fill out housing information.

@andrew…
i have no idea… USC and Umich, they had no set deadline for trasnfer financial aid documents. but im not sure about uc…
anyone else know if there was a deadline for uc?

anyways id say update your fafsa and give a try…

@ nilzzz90
They come out between 4 and 5…but people usually get that refresh button handy at 4 lol

@ SeeHerFly

wow!

so you got past that page that said:

"To submit an application, information is required such as current address, housing preferences, emergency contacts, and payment of a $30.00 non-refundable application fee. Please select your category to proceed with the application process:
