UCLA URSA FinAid UP 2010

i don’t see anything but i got an email from ucsb two weeks ago saying i needed to update my fafsa because my parents supposedly had not yet filled out their 2009 federal income tax return? Did i need to update this information for UCLA, in order to see the document tracking or financial aid package?

crazysev29: I wouldn’t be positive that UCLA will send an email once the admission decision is made. I was accepted to UCSD over 2 weeks ago and I recently received the “welcome package” by US mail, but never received any email. However, on the flipside, a buddy of mine got a UCI acceptance and they DID email him.

Anyways, the email theory is not a for-sure thing. I guess we just have to keep crowding up their admission decision site.

In the meantime, anybody wish to share majors, stats, complaints, horror stories, nonsense, anything ???

who called it =) good luck to everyone

mine says “no request” instead of completed or incomplete

i submitted my fafsa late january. rejected, right?

delayed, but…np, friends.

@argothiusz…yes…that’s pretty much what I’m thinking, based on what I’ve been reading from previous years. p.s.-that wasn’t my actual convo, I just dug that up and found it interesting.

So anyways, for those who are curious, I received an email from UCLA on Wednesday 04/21/10 stating that admissions decisions were up. Feel free to check.

How long does it take from getting the two columns on your UCLA URSC website with “The Accept or Decline your offer” message to receiving the actual Admission email/letter?

I was accepted on Wednesday, and the two columns showed up a couple hours before I logged on to see the acceptance.

^Mhm same. I think for pending students (like me!), they update the URSA the night before your decisions come out. Mine was updated at 12am and I got in the same morning at 11:30am.
