My son has got admitted to both these universities, in UCLA it’s pre business economics and in Bocconi it’s for economics and social sciences…
Now which one to Choose as the pros and cons…

Well - are you American? Does he want to go to school in the US or Italy?
We are from India and he is open to both and wants to understand which one better out of the two
I think it’s bigger than that. UCLA appears to be ranked higher - but it’s not relevant.
What is the cost and can you afford - UCLA is very expensive and you won’t get aid.
What is the end goal because staying in the US (if that’s the goal) is unlikely.
It is very difficult to answer this question - you need to determine your long term goal and where’d you rather be.
Agree we need more info re: relative costs (and whether debt would be involved), and goals after college. Other thoughts on this choice @MYOS1634 ?
Does your child speak Italian?
Are they used to dealing with red tape and unhelpful admistrative mazes?
Are they academically autonomous, self proficient, and socially independent?
What sort of academic environment have they encountered so far?
Are you okay with them living on their own in a foreign city or would you prefer them in a dorm, on campus?
