UCLA vs. Notre Dame

UCLA is playing like a much different team than last week so far! I'm shocked...

Hopefully UCLA will come out with the win!

14-10 at the half :) so far so good

holy ****!!! 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter and UCLA is leading 17-13.

haha that would suck if brady quinn just threw the ball 60 yards in the last 10 seconds to win the game

OH CRAP....i was kinda right

son of a *****

we no way deserved to lose that game, that was a really solid performance but i always kinda thought we would struggle to go the whole of the 4th without them scoring, the fact that nearly happened is pretty hard to swallow at the moment. im pretty gutted.

Yet another great UCLA game...

i can tell you guys my secret (because its the internet and none of you know who i am, right?). i want UCLA to lose every game!!

 10characters

Thanks a lot for the delay of game and rushing at the end of the game Dorrell. I hope you get fired soon.

Great job by most of our players though. You guys deserve a better coach.

UCLA had a great start (which was their goal) and their defense played better than usual overall.

I think that they could have ran out the c lock a little better at the end. But great game. I was shocked at the ending.

symphonyinblack: Great, you jinxed it. I'm kidding, I'm kidding. It's always weird when you say something, and speak of the devil, it happens.

namaste: ......

i didn't jinx it!!!

i said 60 yards in the last 10 seconds...it was really 45 yards in the last minute

totally different

just playin out my curmudgeon side jinobi harhar

that game broke my heart.

neo yoyo, give dorrell credit. he had delay of game to run more time off the clock. unfortunately, we would have had the ball because of the holding call, but luck sometimes just doesnt go our way

We wouldn't have needed luck if we actually went for a first down and just kneeled for the rest of the game after. My friends and I all watched in shock as Dorrell decided to run all three downs. Rushing three times against a Notre Dame defense with almost everyone in the box is a crime.

As for the delay of game, I'll give you that much. But it certainly didn't help matters, and the game wasn't dependent on luck.

running the ball is the best option in those situations. passing is risky because of dropped passes, or even interceptions. but yeah the first play had the entire defense in the box. im sure the coaches saw that from a mile away, but there were no time outs left. audibles dont work when the qb has a sore throat and the stadium is going mad.

sorry, i meant the lack of luck in the delay of game + holding call

next week vs washington st. will be better !

It's not that I don't agree with you. I agree with most things you said. Running is the best, for sure, but what should have been done is short passes since there was no way we could run.

I'm not sure Washington State will be an easier matchup. They just knocked out Oregon in a 1-2 punch. I hope we will do well.

its all good !

yeah. close one for texas too. it doesnt get any closer than that

thats why...

college football > nfl

Agreed. College football is indeed more exciting than the NFL. Must be the college spirit and the fact that hundreds of teams rather than a few dozen have a shot at the grand prize.

I'm borderline suicidal after that game... I need easier teams to root for.
