<p>How do you rate UCLA for the pre-med track over UCSD ?</p>
<p>both schools are wonderful. Note that ucsd is known for engineering. If you want to go to medical school, which i plan to do, both ucsd and ucla are great. I personally am going to ucla as a neuroscience major.</p>
<p>I’m a neuroscience major at UCLA and the opportunities here are great. Of course I can’t speak for UCSD since I didn’t choose to go there, but you really can’t make a wrong decision. I chose UCLA because I liked the campus more, it was closer to home, and name recognition.</p>
<p>How are the neuroscience classes at UCLA? I’m applying there for Fall 2012 as well. Just out of curiosity? Are you a regents scholar? What’s your GPA? Did you transfer in or did you get in from high school?</p>
