Hi, I’m looking for advice on where to SIR. I was accepted to all three schools as my major and they all cost me the same amount. I’m a statistics major with an interest in biotech or neurology and I already have a lab internship this summer at Salk Institute near UCSD. Where do you think I should SIR?
UCB and UCLA have statistics majors, while UCSD has statistics as a subarea of its math major.
All three are oversubscribed, but the recent prerequisite GPA thresholds differ (UCB statistics 3.2 in math prerequisites, B- in upper division probability theory course; UCLA statistics 2.5; UCSD math 2.6).

Thanks for the help! So, at UCSD, I’m a math major not a stats and probability like I thought my letter said? Also, I noticed that your username says you are a UCB alum, what did you study and what was it like?
https://students.ucsd.edu/academics/advising/majors-minors/undergraduate-majors.html lists probability and statistics under the math major.
