Well I'm actually planning to study fashion design, and hopefully I'll be in NYC in the fall, especially if my first choice accepts me and if my financial aid package looks good. But if that doesn't happen I'll stay in Los Angeles just because I need to be in a big city, and I already have a place to live-with my parents.

I actually love California, especially Central Coast, it's just that living in Los Angeles all my life kind of sickens me, just because almost everyone I've met has wanted to break into acting, even growing up and attending public schools, most of my teachers and substitutes, have all been struggling actors, who use teaching as a part time job, which is funny because I remember this one lady who substituted my class for the day, and she was practicing her comedy routine/audition with the class and she came off more as scary/looney than professional, and she thought she was great, but I could have saved her time by telling her that it wasn't going to happen. It just gets old.

But yes, I would also recommend everyone to try to study somewhere that's not close to home, just because if you stay in the same place you'll never experience different people, lifestyle, etc., although, i understand it's hard to turn down a UC just because you get a quality education and don't have to pay as much, as if you were to attend a private.
