UCLA vs UT-Austin

<p>Theoretically, which university would you choose, for engineering majors. Is it worth the OOS tuition to select UCLA over UT? My dad wants me to go to UT and he says that engineering at UT is "better" than UCLA. However I don't know what he uses to base that opinion off of.</p>
