Is it true that the sooner you hear back, the more likely it will be an acceptance instead of a rejection? And what if some people that heard back today got a rejection instead. :-SS

:-/ Not sure, but I recall in last year’s waitlist thread that someone was accepted off the waitlist in late June (idk if I could wait that long aGH). I think it’s mostly dependent on the student body that SIR’ed!

last year, all rejections came at the end of the waitlist offer, which I’m guessing was July 2 for them, I’m not sure when our last day is but June 1 is posted so we don’t have to wait as long !

Last year people received an email saying that they are extending the waitlist time
So unless we get an email saying something like this our last day would be June 1
Appeal decisions were out today.

@apesmc we have to submit a housing application today still even though we dont have to submit our SIR until Thusday right?
@moptoprock23 tbh I have no idea. I SIR’d yesterday though and am going to submit the housing application just in case? Unless I log in and find out they have a different housing application date for waitlisted students or something haha.

why ucla why you could’ve just rejected us all instead of putting us through this just when a lot of people have exams
@apesmc it says on housing website that students that students admitted between April 15 and may 15 have 15 days from offer of admission to submit housing application
so can we all assume that no one will hear back from UCLA until May 5th?
I remember reading last year’s forum that there were two waves at once one time so it’s possible we can hear back tm! (hopefully)

gosh… Ive been hovering over this thread since March and the anxiety is killing me. 
i’d consider it a miracle if I somehow get in, even if it is on the very last day. (June 1st?) hang in there guys!
For those who haven’t heard back yet, how are you handling the roommate situation at whatever school you’re currently SIR’d to?
