Had a look at last years waitlist thread. They had releases off the waitlist starting May 2. Also i think they did OOS and instate first…and if my observations were correct Engg waitlisted applicants did not show up as much:(

for all decisions in general, what time does UCLA usually release decisions, in pacific time?
Usually around 4-6 PM.
@mikuru did you say that someone earlier said that they got off the wait list on the ucla class of 2020 Facebook group? if so, can you check if anyone updated anything there, since it’s a closed group.
I believe someone else said that, but it was basically confirmed to be a hoax. The UCLA admissions officer I talked to said results weren’t released until last week, but the Facebook member said before that. Either they’re special, or otherwise they’re lying.
Also, I’m not a member of that group so ^^"
