ok well the computer labs were packed with atleast like 45min -1 hour waiting time.

the crappy list was posted literally from 6 feet high down to the floor....

you had to write out everything on yoru own piece of paper than go sit and figure it out.

it would have taken about 20- min to use the Class Optimizer on MYUCLA, where as it took me about 2-3 hours by sitting on the floor and standing over people trying to see and so on.

In the end, i called my BF and had to ask him to register me because if i didnt get into 1 econ class the rest of my scheule didnt work, and this class, according to the schedule was alreayd full, but then it let me reigster for it anways, but it filled up in like 4 min or something.
If it wasnt for him i would not have even gotten myc ourses and would have been over a semester behind. which is awful

How hard would it have been to provide people with a rpinter scehdule??????/

and by the way, getting up to covel from like the main part of campus , sucked some massive hairy monkey balls.

Yes, the dorms are far. Especially in the summer when you're rushing to get classes.

Yeah I don't know what their deal is with the schedules. I suspect that our group got into the computer lab at a really lucky time because although I heard all about the schedules on the walls, I never personally encountered it.

However, in retrospect, I would've just gone to the Clicc lab to do all the class planning. Just need your bol id/password and it's waaaaay closer to all the workshops and stuff.

My group member was also a transfer student. I think she has friends at ucla.

The worst thing about posting open/closed classes list on the wall is people can't check the pre-req for that course. It caused so much problem in my group. Almost everyone in my group couldn't register for the courses they planned. Some of the courses they choose are major restricted. They had to choose college surviving course or health course. I was the last one to register, and I've waited for over 30 mins!

Just and FYI for the people who are in the late enrollment sections, i have noticed that some courses have an enrollment cap that apperas to increase over time.

when i registered for econ 11, the enrollmen tcap was set to 150, right now its at 207 .... other courses might change the same way based on need.

omfg, I googled all the course numbers that I enrolled in, and I found a lot of people said they sucked so hard in these classes in their xangas and myspace.
