UCLA

Recently, my sister got kicked out of her major and the school in general because she had a B in the previous semester and could not get into any other major. She went through a really tough process where many of the majors she wanted to get into had requirements she didn’t have completed and as a result was unable to transfer, leaving her major-less and kicked out. My question is, is this what happens at every UC? Do all UC’s do this?

It appears that there is some missing information.
Was she on academic probation prior to the “B” grade?
Was she missing required classes?
Were the majors, she was trying to get into, competitive, requiring perfect gpa’s?

They just don’t kick you out of a major. The schools work with you to get you to graduate.
There appears to be a gap of information.

She told me very little information, but I do know that she was majoring in some form of Biology.
