Ucla!

Hey guys,

You have to promise to be as LOUD as possible vs. USC next Saturday. Please, do it for your friends in Florida!

Screw the Trojans!

Go Bruins!!!!!!!!!!

Florida is getting hosed, but at the end of the day, they should have beat auburn. By the way, I was in Tallahassee for the FSU game, it was a blast! Go Gators!

Floridans

It would have been much more fun if the gatros lost. ;)

The Emerald Bowl game will be a first, though - UCLA and Florida State have never played in football. Cool.

Can I Gator Chomp through this post?

Incidentally, I'm wearing a Bruin Blue shirt with a little gator on it as we speak.

The Izod-Lacoste 'alligator' is actually a crocodile. In Florida, alligators are known for walnut-sized brains and a distinct propensity to eat defenseless children, dogs, the elderly and the odd crack addict. Great school symbol.

You're right, this reptile on this shirt is actual a crocodile. It has the long snout distinctive of the crocodile.

I am definitely looking forward to the Emerald bowl though between FSU and UCLA. I doubt there's much scoring, but for two teams who've had somewhat disappointing seasons it could be worse.

I think it'll be cool just play a team we're never played before in a city we've never played in...SF. And maybe buy a Cal...oops...I mean a UCLA t-shirt. ;)

FSU and UCLA actually did play each other for the NCAA national basketball championship in 1972. UCLA won 81-76. :(

Go Bruins.
