I basically have couple questions regarding UCLA's business economics program and the financial planning/advising career. For any UCLA business economics students....how hard is this major compared to other majors at LA and what do you learn in a "typical" day?

As for any financial planners or advisors out there, what is the difference between the two careers and what do you basically do in a typical day as well? Are your work hours flexible and what do you actually do for a client?

*random: does macroeconomics help understand the stock market?
