ucla's business economics and financial planning

I basically have couple questions regarding UCLA's business economics program and the financial planning/advising career. For any UCLA business economics students....how hard is this major compared to other majors at LA and what do you learn in a "typical" day?

As for any financial planners or advisors out there, what is the difference between the two careers and what do you basically do in a typical day as well? Are your work hours flexible and what do you actually do for a client?

*random: does macroeconomics help understand the stock market?

hours are VERY flexible, otherwise i will say more later when i am not so tired

macroeconomics, at least theoretically will help you understand the stock market. for example if the government ups the interest rates considerably, the stock market is likely to respond bearish-ly.

however, the stock market is irrational and can't be mastered through textbook learning alone
