UCONN 8 Year Medical Program

Hey guys I just need advice on the chances of me getting into an 8 year medical program- NY state resident
GPA: 95
Class: Junior
Ranking: 180 out of 800
AP: 7 AP
ACT: 30
SAT: Not taken yet
Have not taken subject tests yet
Extra curricular: volunteering at hospital for two years, internship with clinical research, multiple blogs submitted in for a journal, Basketball- 3 years Tennis-3 years plus captain, Piano, clarinet, Club- Future Business Leaders of America (Chair of Events), Marine Bio club, Science fair judge and participant, Coached two years of basketball in a town league,
Part of a science research team in school entering multiple competitions

I would really appreciate it if you could give me more advice on what else I can do to get into an 8 year med program.

you look… meh. That ACT will put you in the lower portion of applicants…the research is good tho. If you could get your research mentor to write you a rec, that would be valuable. You shoud also try and find a shadowing opportunity, as that is expected of applicants. If you write insanely good essays, you could have a chance at interviewing. Apply wide! If healthcare is your goal, try applying to other bsmds too!
