I got my decision yesterday by email-- I am out of state. Got my acceptance letter in the mail today (3/1)

still nothing times two

All merit aid award notifications are in your acceptance letter. Go, Huskies!

I guess nobody has heard anything?

We heard mid February that my daughter got accepted as a Pathobiology Major. Some of her friends got notice of being wait listed. She hasn’t heard anything about the branches yet.

Zzzzzzzzzzzz

^ lol what the heck are the napping did the system crash I really

so I spoke with admissions it could be a few more weeks … they will post as the make decisions great

Well daughter #2 no longer cares. She is looking at it as her only rejection. I really don’t understand their way of doing things. Daughter #1 applied a full month later. At this point a no thank you would be appreciated.

I hear ya @Twinmom2014 my D has also been accepted to 4 schools but her top ones have yet to get back to her UD IS GOING ON 17 WEEKS I mean really … and now this and she was deferred from Marist so she has to wait till April 1 for that looking back now we should have had her change her 2nd major to undecided she would have had such an easier time but who would have know good luck everyone

my D just texted me that her classmate just found out online today that she was rejected sadly so i guess they are going one by one

@miesha5 curious…do you know what she applied for? Is her classmate an above average student?

just asked my D she applied for speech pathology and she’s a slightly better student then my D i wouldn’t say above average but def an A STUDENT

In my book an A student is above average…those that make the honor roll consistently. Oh well… too bad UConn is a nice option for us. We are in MA but the campus is only an hour and a half away. Taking D#1 on a tour end of this month. Guess D#2 is staying home.

WELL then i guess my D is above average because she’s NHS made high honor roll since 7th grade

Yes she sure is!!! Same for both kids except for a little blip for D2 in Jr year, her Honors Chemistry was an 81 last year and she only made honors 3rd and 4th quarter not high honors… thinking that was her downfall. Only low grade on her transcript. She will not be going into the science field . LOL

I’m really confused as to how they decide who gets in and who doesn’t because I’ve heard of a few people with 1800 and above SATs and pretty good GPA’s who get rejected, meanwhile a few days ago I know someone who got into a storrs campus with a 3.1 gpa and a 1200 SAT…no extracurriculars, sports, or challenging courses…

…I am not sure about Conn but NY had a program called “EOP” It is a program for educational disadvantaged kids, maybe Conn has something similar?

hmm, possibly. I’m just gonna have to assume that UCONN had their reasons for accepting this person.

anyone get requested to send their mid year report?? I was requested about two weeks ago (Feb 21st) and my application went from being completed to incomplete because of it. The status changed again today to complete since I called and asked if they’ve received it.
It feels like I’m the only one who has had this problem :-<
