UConn Admissions Decisions

I would hope that nothing is final till you see it are you sure you don’t have and email address when you log on before you switch over to the page check my status down by personal info ?

Nope, nothing! I looked at the fact sheet from 2013 and it said the average SAT for nursing students was 596CR and 610M. I have a 650CR and a 590M and 4.3 GPA. I thought I would be okay…

@kayyx3dee try not to stress from what i understand nursing is very competitive maybe you are being wait listed maybe they just haven’t gotten to you maybe they are doing it in waves and those who are getting merit are being notified first we are right there with you believe me (: hope you get what you want

Thank you @miesha5!! I will try to stay positive :)

remember so far no news is good news thats what i keep telling my D at least your still in the running

@miesha5…yes I am double triple sure  . As far as the pay button… Daughter #1 applied to Binghamton…people on the boards were saying they could see a pay button. I did not see it and assumed she did not get in. One week later there comes the big green envelope with her acceptance.

@Twinmom2014… that makes me feel better!

JUST checked again~ at 8am there was no ability to pay, NOW, at 8:30am it has a “pay admissions deposit”. Hang in there people, LOTS of changes… good luck to all.

I just checked a second ago… now I have a pay link for Twin #1…still no email address, status change for #2.

I assume a M/V SAT of 1250 is not going to get any merit for OOS even with a 4.0 GPA~ but for those who have gotten their mailed acceptances, if you did get merit awards does your award show up on your financial aid page yet?

@wewsy The actual amount did not show up on the financial aid page, it was just a generic sort of terms of scholarships and accept/decline scholarship if I remember correctly.

My daughter’s status change overnight now has a link to make the $150 deposit. Didn’t look for an email address, but definitely going to go back in and look! I hope being able to deposit is a positive sign!

i now have a link to make the $150 deposit and i can check all financial aid information… hope this is a good sign for people who have been getting the same thing

Hey guys! Just wanted to let everyone know that my application status changed last night to the message about how it was going to be mailed soon, but last night I didn’t have the option to pay the admissions deposit. I logged in again this morning, and now it’s there! So to those of you who don’t have the option now, you might later. Don’t lose hope!

Also, does anyone know that if you have the option to pay the deposit, does it for sure mean that you’re admitted?

If it doesn’t, it would be VERY cruel!

Yes, it would! I wish they would just post it online, I’m so nervous now! :-S

but it would make no sense if they had the option to pay for admissions deposit and you didn’t get in

Yup, there’s a UConn email address for her at the bottom, it may have been there all along, but I never noticed it before today.

Didn’t the status used to read something along the lines of “Please continue to check your application status online, it will be posted here first”? So, will we eventually see something that says, “Check your status”, and then see an official Yes or No? or do we need to wait for the official letter?

@duhitsjenna12895 SAT: 2060 GPA: 94.79 unweighted, 106.42 weighted (My school doesn’t do a 4.0 scale).

@kayyx3dee could you tell me where you found the specific sat requirements for nursing? I’ve been trying to find them for animal science and haven’t had any luck. I check the uconn fact sheet and don’t see any department specific information like that.
