UCONN class of 2022

@collegeplz2000 I’m sorry, but I don’t know either

@VanillaIce I’d say it’s a good sign. Mine doesn’t have “New Scholarship Acceptance”…you may not be able to access it yet but I’m guessing that it’s a good sign because it is there. Good luck!

Mine doesn’t have the withdraw application link or financial aid link

The more you look at the “signs” the more it seems they are just system things. I have the financial aid link but that could be because I submitted the FAFSA stuff in the fall to UConn. The phone book isn’t really evidence of anything either. I thought we would hear today. The wait continues…

UCONN admissions site says notifications BEGIN March 1st. I have gone through this waiting game several times with my older kids and if you look back, the updates on the portal probably mean nothing, it is all random! Most of you applied last fall, continue to be patient, you will know soon enough!

I agree that some of the links and phone books people are analyzing are likely nothing. On the other hand, I did have a change in my academic plan so that is something but may not be a sign of admission chances. When I see confetti on my computer screen, a big blue envelope or a small unassuming envelope I will know.

@payasugo Those “small unassuming” envelopes freak me out everyday!! Never thought I would be so happy when they are just bills

The blue envelopes for admittance are about 5 by 7 inches and say “Welcome to UConn Nation” on the outside. This is for the Storrs campus (my D received hers on Feb. 17th, but she is part of Fine Arts who sends notification earlier than others). My S was accepted to the Stamford campus three years ago and I honestly cannot remember if his envelope was larger or the same size my D received(??) Wishing everyone the best of luck!!!

Has anyone accepted paid the enrollment deposit? Applied for housing?

@Lynn26 you still dont have the search or financial aid link yet? It used to be there sometimes and sometimes not but now its there always when i check.

Also the withdraw application is below the check application status. You dont have that either? Did you have that before?

I applied to DMD under the fine arts department and still haven’t heard. Maybe it’s because I’m in Ca.

Portals might be updated tomorrow night if we are getting them on Thursday through mail

@nyknicks1000. I never had the financial aid link and the withdraw application link disappeared when my application changed to complete. All these signs make me believe I’m rejected

@pamelaAC Thanks! I hope we both get accepted!

@Lynn26 I’m confident more or less that the system always has some glitches or errors, so don’t push yourself too hard to think negatively over this

You guys are just over worrying yourselves. The portal updates have nothing to do with your application decision. I don’t know if any of you saw my post earlier, but I know of people who had all of the “accepted” signs and still got rejected.

I agree. All of these small updates and quirks on the page amount to very little. Don’t worry.
We will all know very soon. Good luck everyone :shamrock::shamrock:

I hope it comes in the mail today.

nothing in the mail today…central MA

I think the informed delivery only shows smaller envelopes, not sure you will be able to see the UCONN sized mailing??
