<p>Are the fees a constant thing for the 4 years you are at UConn? Sometimes you pay more freshman year and then they are lower at some colleges. UConn's are now $2,254.
My twins got full tuition so this is a small amount, but I wondered if they fluctuated.</p>
<p>They can fluctuate depending on how that individual institution changes. For instance, Health Services may decide to raise their fee by $10 per student next year (not necessarily true, but an example).</p>
<p>I see, but probably not much year to year. At a private college my son went too, the first year fees were high, but the following year, they ebbed a bit. That said, UConn is a state school and much cheaper overall.</p>
<p>Fees at UConn will almost never decrease. They are not associated with year of student.</p>
