UConn or UMass for international students?

Hi, I'm a Korean international student and I'm applying to so many schools...11 on common app and four non-common app. I'm also applying to McGill in Canada. I think I have to narrow my list down because application fees are not that cheap either...so yeah.

My question is: is University of Connecticut or University of Massachusetts Amherst more popular among international students? Should I even apply to these universities? I think I have a good chance to get into both, but I want to eliminate one. I want to major in English, if that helps. :)

Thank you!

I say UMASS!

If finances aren’t a concern, I would choose UConn over UMass, UNLESS you can get into UMass’ Honors College. If finances are a concern, apply to the place that’s the cheapest for you.
