UConn vs Rutgers for BME

Which school is better for biomedical engineering?

They both cost about the same for me.

Thnx!

Do some research on their job placement rates, especially if you are only planning on BS. From what I’ve read, BME jobs can be hard to get w/o grad degree.

Is it your thought to major in Biomed and apply to medical school? If so UMDMJ is part of Rutgers, which could be helpful.

I agree with Colorado mom, you often need a grad degree in Biomed Engineer. You may want to explore what companies are hiring for internships and careers from each school. Contact career services and speak to Biomed departments. NJ is full of Pharma companies which may be helpful in finding work.
