Hey, I wanted to know if anyone could help me with this. I'm a senior in Jersey (so i'm OOS for both colleges) and can't figure out which I'd rather. I'll be going into Psychology, so as far as I can tell UVA does have a better program. I got a scholarship to UConn, so I'd be paying about 25,000 a year while UVA didn't give me anything (finaid or scholarships). Um, my parents can probably pay up to 30K/year, and UVA comes out to almost 50K a year.

Does anyone have any ideas that could help sway me in one direction? Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Did you get into honors at UConn? If so, then you get priority registration for classes which is a big benefit for a popular major like Psychology. Honors also gets you access to the extras in your major which are key for grad school admission (research, working with Profs, honors track). That, and you might actually have some money left to go to grad school, maybe at UVA?

Where will you get the 20000.00 per year to attend UVA?

I would take the uconn offer and use the extra money for graduate school.

I would say pick UVA but financially that does not seem like a viable option.
