UCR is my top choice so I accepted the waitlist, if they don’t get back to me by May I will SIR to CSULB. I might lose my enrollment & housing fees but I think it’s worth it since UCR is my top choice.

I know this is only for admittance but I’m so conflicted. Cal poly Pomona’s Ethnic studies (will move to Early childhood studies) or UCR Liberal arts?

Everyone admitted, join the groupme! for CLASS OF 2021!

HELP Does anyone know the cost of attendance for out-of-state residents? I tried to look online but each site gives me a different price

also does anyone know if there is an additional scholarship if I get into the UCR honors program?

is there a Facebook page already?

Heads up those who have SIR’d : Housing Contracts and Freshman Orientation sign ups are open ! (finally)

Based on this link last year, don’t know if it is legit, but if it is, then you have a good chance. I told my daughter to send regrets to the ones she was accepted so it would open up the spot.

@seniorlyss:

There are no scholarships for the Honors college. If you were accepted, there should be a Tab indicating if you received either Regents scholarship, Chancellor’s scholarship or the Highlander Scholarship.

Out of state costs will be approximately $63,000/year.
You take the in-state costs for living on campus of $36,211 and add the OOS tuition supplemental fee of $26,682 (Nonresident Supplemental Tuition) to your costs which equals approximately $62,893

See the footnote on the bottom of the attached link/chart: http://admissions.ucr.edu/cost/index.html

Also UC’s do not give need-based financial aid to out of state students, so expect to pay full price unless you received the above mentioned scholarships.

My son was accepted as undeclared to CHASS. (3.4 UC GPA, ACT 25. Good essays, and ok EC’s). This is the only UC he got into, so he’s happy with it. Still undecided, though, on where to attend.

Did anyone TAG UCR and heard back yet?

I am thinking about linguistics as my major. What are your career goals after college? I like the subject but not sure about what jobs are out there for linguistics majors
