UCR vs CSUF accounting

So I have been deciding between these two schools for awhile and still cannot choose one. I am a transferer

UCR

Pros:
-would cost me only about 2,000 for both years.

  • I live near Riverside so I know more people at UCR
  • good program

Cons:

  • business school not as well known as CSUF
  • I heard recruiting is a little weak for public accounting (both big4 and mid tier)

CSUF

Pros:

  • business and accounting program is much more well known
  • more firms recruiting

Cons:

  • will cost me around 12,000 for both years which is 10,000 mire than UCR
  • i do not know many people there

I do not want to necessarily work for the big4 but still want to get into PA. does UCR have mid tier firms coming in at least?

Please give your insight and thank you!

UCR has a Spring Banquet held by their Accounting Society and club Beta Alpha Psi that is a large networking
event. It has firms such as PwC, E&Y, KPMG, RSM, and many more. The other big 4 also recruits on campus. UCR has a great reputation. I think you couldn’t go wrong especially if you know people and it will cost only $2000 for the two years

If I join these organizations, then is it safe to say I will be able to connect with other students in accounting and this will allow me to get better internship opportunities?

UCR has very good Business Programs both ranked in Top 100 on US News (#78 (SOBA) & #89 (Anderson MBA). Fastest growing UC for a reason.
