UCR vs SJSU vs UOP

Hey everyone,
So I guess for now these are the main schools that I have been accepted to and most likely considering.
Any opinions/facts of their weaknesses or strengths and any links/articles that could be helpful would be greatly appreciated. Also any majors I should really look into would be great help.

UOP (University of the Pacific) I was accepted for Comp Sci since I was deferred from their Pharmacy Program. I was also granted $6500 scholarship that could be renewed annually and $23k from Financial Aid for a total about $30k off of my first year of tuition if I do plan to attend there. Does anyone know what other programs they are known for besides their pharmacy and dental programs? Is it hard to switch majors there?

UCR I was accepted for Biology but I am not sure if that is something I will be able to end up completing and earning a Bachelor’s in. I am really leaning towards attending UCR. Therefore I am wondering what programs and majors are at UCR that I should research about so I can have a back up plan if Biology does not work out. How safe is the area around UCR? Do they offer tutoring services if I am having trouble? What should I expect in the Biology program? And are there econ or comp science programs good?

Sjsu I was accepted as a bio major as well but would not go there unless I am in engineering or comp sci. I would be living at home so I would be saving money but I really kinda wanted the experience to socialize in the dorms and live on campus.

My personal ranking would be UCR, UOP, then SJSU.

I am just trying to choose the school that would allow me to switch majors, but also have programs that are well known, or at least somewhat. Do you guys think UCR would be the better choice for me? Thanks for any input!

Out of these 3, I would go to SJSU… it’s probably the cheapest… the quality of education is no better, no worse than the other three… I think San Jose is a far more interesting area than Riverside or Stockton (Stockton is really horrible, actually). In terms of reputation, no one outside of California has heard of UOP… I actually think SJSU has a slightly better rep than UCR, but I could be wrong… let’s just say they are on equal footing… but in terms of cities, SJ >>> Riverside.

@harvardandberkeley‌ Totally understand your perspective on that! Any other opinions with articles or anything would be cool!

Anyone with personal experiences at any of the campuses?
